Sunday, Dec. 14, a day with clear blue skies and a temperature high in the 40s, was a perfect day for a motorcycle ride for a great cause—the annual US Marine Corp “Toys for Tots,” sponsored by Kindle Ford.
Motorcycle enthusiasts registered by donating a child’s holiday toy.
Approximately 150 motorcycles departed Wildwood Harley Davidson for a brisk ride to Cape May Point Sportman’s Club, where they were served an appreciated hot lunch.
Commander’s Award Certificates were presented to various local motorcycle clubs in attendance by David Burke, coordinator of the US Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.
Members of The Shore Blazers Equine 4-H Club volunteered their assistance, and helped make the day a success.
