Beach tags now on sale in Ocean City
You can beat the summer crowds and buy your beach tags now for the 2009 season on line at Ocean City’s Web site: ocnj.us.
On New Year’s Eve and New Years Day, beach tags will be on sale at the Music Pier from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.
Pre-season beach tags are also available on weekdays at City Hall located at 9th St. and Asbury Ave. from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and at the Ocean City Municipal Airport located at 26th St. and Bay Ave.
Pre-Season beach tags are $15. Those age 12 and up require tags.
Gift certificates redeemable for the Ocean City Pops, the Stockton Concert Series and other city sponsored concerts during the 2009 season are available in any denomination at City Hall during regular business hours from 9 to 4:30 p.m.
Also, the new Adopt a Park Program provides you with a way to remember a special person at one of two City Playgrounds—North St. and 34th St.
Options include a 4-inch by 8 inch engraved brick for $150, and a shade tree with an engraved donor plaque for $1,000.
Bike racks are also available for $600, which includes an engraved nameplate. For more information on this program please call 609-525-9294.
