Air Force Airman Michael J. Giuffrida graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Giuffrida is the son of Jennifer and Michael J. Giuffrida Sr. of Cape May, N.J. He is a 2013 graduate of Lower Cape May Regional, Cape May, N.J.

Glenn Rodriguez, a graduate of Cape May Tech and former resident of North Cape May, now lives in Los Angeles and just signed on to be the head editor for a upcoming interactive travel docu-series “Wayfaring” staring Malcolm Freberg of the hit reality show “Survivor”. He will be traveling with the production team across the country to edit 20 episodes in 20 days as each episode will be available for viewing on the show’s website the following day after it has been shot! This year’s graduating class is the largest in the history of Berkeley College with more than 2,300 students from Berkeley College locations in New Jersey, New York and Berkeley College Online® receiving Bachelor’s and Associate’s degrees and certificates.

Ryan Patrick McSorley of Marmora graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology during the 144th Commencement on May 24, 2014, at McDaniel College. More than 330 bachelor’s degrees were awarded during the ceremony.
Krista Zoller of Ocean City was among those honored on the Lewis University Dean’s List for spring semester 2014. Zoller was studying Air Traffic Control Mgmt-B.S. at Lewis University.
To be eligible for this honor, students must have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours of credit with a grade point average of 3.5 out of a possible 4.0 and with no “D” or “F” grades.
