ATLANTIC CITY – Local lawyer J. David Alcantara was found not guilty Dec. 9 of sexually assaulting his teenage stepdaughter, The Press of Atlantic City reports.
Alcantara was acquitted of aggravated sexual assault, aggravated sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child, among other charges, after a two-week trial in Atlantic County. He was charged in October 2012.
Alcantara has a hearing in January on charges he assaulted his other stepdaughter, the report continued.
