WOODBINE — A Woodbine man was injured Thur., Feb. 10 in a single-car crash on Fiddler Hill Road (CR 660), according to State Police at Woodbine station.
Terry Pierce, 20, was traveling reportedly too fast when he entered the turn near Fiddler Hill Road, spun out, and struck a utility pole, police said.
Woodbine Fire Department and Belleplain Emergency Corps, were dispatched to the scene with AtlantiCare paramedics at 1:24 p.m.
Pierce was transported to Woodbine Municipal Airport where he was airlifted to the trauma unit at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City by Atlantic Air Two.
Pierce is reported to have a head injury, according to police.
Pierce was charged with careless driving and driving under the influence.
