Woman Airlifted After Fall in North Wildwood

NORTH WILDWOOD— An unidentified 46 year-old female was airlifted to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center’s trauma unit in Atlantic City by South Star medevac following a fall in a 10th Street apartment just before 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 26.
According to reports the woman fell from a standing position after fainting and struck her head rendering her unconscious and unresponsive.
The North Wildwood Fire Department and Atlanticare Paramedics transported the woman to the Cape May Armory where she was airlifted.
The flight crew reported the victim started to wake up when they were taking off and the victim was becoming combative.
