Vehicle Rollover on Route 9

ERMA – A vehicle rollover occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m., on Sat., March 17, on Rt. 9 South, in the vicinity of Eddie’s Auto Body. One person was injured and then transported to Cape May County Airport, where they were placed in a medical helicopter and taken to an unknown hospital. The Erma Fire Dept. was on hand due to smoke coming from the vehicle – Lower Township Rescue and Medic 9 were also on scene. The cause of the accident is unknown at this time. Lower Township Police are investigating.
