Vehicle Crashes Into Wild Bird Crossing Shop

SEAVILLE — Seaville volunteer firefighters and rescue units were dispatched to the scene of a vehicle that crashed into the Wild Bird Crossing of Cape May shop near Routes 9 and 50 Thur., about 5:30 p.m.
Firefighters used the Jaws of Life hydraulic tool to free the victim from the wreckage. The male victim was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle.
According to State Police, the driver was airlifted from the scene to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Traffic was detoured on Corson Tavern and New Bridge Roads while the accident was being investigated.
