UPDATE: Woman Killed in Tuckahoe Crash Identified

TUCKAHOE — One person was killed on Saturday, March, 20, at 4:38 p.m., in a single vehicle crash here at 1610 Route 50, state police at the Woodbine station said.
According to state police, Carol Rosiak, 58, of the Petersburg section of Upper Township lost control of the Buick Regal she was driving South on Route 50. State police said the Buick struck a tree causing Rosiak who was wearing a seat belt, to be ejected from the car. The Buick continued on and struck a second tree prior to coming to rest.
Rosiak was pronounced dead on scene.
Route 50 was closed for several hours as detectives from the State Police Fatal Accident Investigation Unit, investigated the crash.
The Tuckahoe Fire Department and Upper Township Rescue Squad responded to the scene with Atlanticare paramedics.
The crash is under investigation by Trooper Brian Marsh of the Woodbine station.
