ERMA — Lower Township fire companies, Erma and Villas, and police were dispatched to 619 Breakwater Road at 10:43 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20 for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.
According to Police Christine Vicencio, 59 of North Cape May had to be extricated from her car.Lower Twp EMS and Atlanticare Paramedics requested Vicencio to be air lifted to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City.
John Sheets, 42 of Erma was heading east on Breakwater Road when Vicencio attempted to merge into Sheets’ lane from the side of the roadway. Sheets was uninjured in the crash.
South Star medevac transported Vicencio in stable condition with a fractured leg and chest trauma.
