UPDATE: Police Report Fatal Crash on Avalon Boulevard

UPDATE:
Middle Township Police Department issued a press release April 23 which identified the deceased driver as Jack Brian Smith (51) from Moscow, Pa.
Addison Jones is listed in Critical Condition at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Division.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

COURT HOUSE – The Middle Township Police Department responded to Avalon Boulevard for a report of a two car motor vehicle crash April 22 at approximately 4:50 p.m.
A silver minivan traveling East on Avalon Boulevard crossed the center line and struck a Green Jeep Wrangler, driven by Addison Jones, 61, of Langhorne, PA. Jones was airlifted to Atlantic Care Medical Center City Division.
The driver of the silver minivan, a 51-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending notification to his family.
Cape May Court House and Avalon Fire Departments assisted with the scene. Avalon Boulevard was reopened to traffic at approximately 8 p.m. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
