UPDATE: One Injured in Fiery Route 47 Crash

GREEN CREEK– Middle Township Firefighters and EMS personnel responded to a two vehicle motor-vehicle crash here on Route 47 in front of the Marlboro Farm Market on Sunday, May 16.
According to police, Ian Day was driving a Mazda M3, south on Route 47 in the area of Marlboro Market. Sharon Tomlinson was exiting Marlboro Market, making a left to head north on Route 47. She failed to see the vehicle driven by Mr. Day and pulled out into traffic. Day attempted to avoid striking Tomlinson but was unable to.
After impact the engine compartment of Day’s vehicle caught on fire. Tomlinson was transported to Cape Regional Medical Center for minor injuries. Day was not injured.
Tomlinson was issued two summonses for the crash.
