UPDATE: Driver in Parkway Accident Released From Hospital

COURT HOUSE– The driver of a pickup truck that was airlifted to Atlanticare Regional Medical center yesterday (May 8) afternoon following a crash on the Parkway was treated and released from the hospital according to state police at the Bass River station.
According to reports an off duty police officer called 9-1-1 to report the truck was driving erratically. While on the phone with police dispatch the truck ran off the road, struck a guardrail and came to rest partially in the marsh.
State Police identified the driver as Henry Lunn, 77, of Woodbury Heights. State Police said Lunn fell asleep at the wheel.
The Rio Grande Rescue Squad, Court House Fire Department and Medic 3 responded to the crash with Middle Township police and State Police.
