NDIAN RIVER, DEL. – The Coast Guard has suspended the search for a 41-year-old man who was reported missing after fishing from the Indian River Inlet jetty Tuesday.
Missing is Jole Thompson.
The Coast Guard suspended the search at 9:15 p.m. after searching for 11 hours.
A rescue helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City, N.J., a rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Indian River, the crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Mako, homeported in Cape May, N,J., a helicopter crew from the Delaware State Police, members of the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control Marine division and Lewes, Del., Fire Department searched for the man.
