WILDWOOD — Police here responded to a reported accident on Atlantic Avenue between Cedar and Oak avenues at approximately 11:25 a.m. on Thursday, April 22.
According to police at the scene, an unidentified driver was traveling on Atlantic Avenue in a pickup truck when he lost consciousness and veered out of his lane sideswiping a parked SUV. He continued on rear-ending another parked vehicle pushing it into the lane of travel. He sideswiped a third vehicle before coming to a stop.
The man was semiconscious when police arrived.
He was transported to Cape Regional Medical Center by Wildwood Fire Department and AtlantiCare paramedics. His condition is unknown at this time.
