Two Pulled From Water by Coast Guard

CAPE MAY- Two people were rescued Sunday, May 25 by a good Samaritan after the 14-foot boat they were aboard capsized five miles northwest of the Cape May Canal near Cape May, N.J.
The Coast Guard received a call at 11 p.m. from a crew member aboard the Stryker reporting they had retrieved two people from the water.
A rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Cape May arrived on scene and transferred the two people aboard their boat.
They were transported to the pier at Coast Guard Training Center Cape May and transferred to awaiting emergency medical personnel to be treated for hypothermia.
