Two Injured, One Seriously in ACME Parking Lot Crash

NORTH CAPE MAY– Two people were injured, one seriously Saturday afternoon in the ACME parking lot on Bayshore Road, according to Lower Township police.
The accident occurred at around 3. p.m. Police said the driver may have suffered a medical problem before crashing into some parked cars.
The driver is reported to have severe head trauma and was airlifted to the trauma unit at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center by MedEvac 5.
The second person injured was in one of the parked cars. They were transported to Cape Regional Medical Center by Lower Township Rescue Squad.
The Town Bank Fire Department and AtlantiCare paramedics also responded to the scene. The Erma Fire Department responded for the landing zone assignment.
The crash is under investigation.
