Two Hurt in Late-Night Tuckahoe Crash

TUCKAHOE — Two persons sustained minor injuries after the vehicle in which they were riding struck a utility pole here on Weatherby Road, just east of the intersection with Belleplain Road around 11:30 p.m. on July 26.
Belleplain Emergency Corps and Fire Department responded to the crash, uncertain if the crash was in their area. The exact location of the accident was in Tuckahoe and Upper Township Rescue Squad was requested to responded to the scene.
Belleplain and Upper Township each transported one victim to Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident is under investigation by state troopers at the New Jersey State Police Woodbine Station.
