Two-Car Accident in Rio Grande

RIO GRANDE – Around 5:45 p.m., Sun., Nov. 20, there was a report of a two-car motor vehicle accident on Route 47, in front of Rio Grande Bible Baptist Church, with two people trapped. The jaws of life were needed to remove the door of the vehicle. Both vehicles received major damage and were towed.
Rio Grande Fire was on scene to remove the vehicle door, and assisted Rio Grande Rescue with the treatment of three people and with transporting them to the hospital. Middle Township Police are investigating.
