COURT HOUSE — Two persons were airlifted following a three-vehicle accident on the Garden State Parkway at the Stone Harbor Boulevard intersection about 7:35 p.m. on Aug. 27, according to State Police Sgt. Burns.
Court House Fire Department, Middle Township Ambulance Corps, Lower Township Rescue Squad, and Medic 9 all responded to the accident that left a traffic light resting on one of the vehicles involved.
State Police did not release all details shortly after the accident, but confirmed South Star and Medevac 5 were requested to the scene as a precaution, “We don’t believe the injuries to be serious at this time; one victim may have a concussion that’s all we know for now,” said Burns.
Both victims were flown to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center Trauma Center in Atlantic City, according to Burns.
The accident is under investigation by State Police Bass River Patrol Division.
