Toddler in Serious Condition After Plummeting From Second Story

WILDWOOD– A toddler was airlifted in serious condition by South Star medevac to Cooper University Trauma Center in Camden following a fall from a second story window.
Wildwood Fire Department and Medic 9 responded to the scene here at Pacific Avenue and East Davis Avenue around 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, March 8.
According to reports, the toddler fell from the second story onto the concrete sidewalk. The toddler was transported by a Wildwood ambulance and Medic 9 to the Cape May Armory to be airlifted.
South Star reported the victim to be a 30-month-old female with a closed head injury and fractured hand. The toddler’s mother was reported to have also been on board the helicopter.
