Three Injured in Upper Township Boat Crash

UPPER TOWNSHIP – A boat crashed into land at high speed, causing the boat to go airborne around 8:04 p.m. July 26 on the Tuckahoe River near Mosquito Landing Boat Ramp in Upper Township, injuring three, according to NBC 40.
Police told NBC 40 that a man and two women were on board at the time of the crash.
Two victims were flown to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City and one victim was taken to Shore Medical Center. The injuries were non-life threatening.
The Upper Township Rescue Squad, Belleplain Emergency Corps and Tuckahoe Fire Department responded to the scene with NJ State Police.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
