By Press Release

RIO GRANDE – Middle Township Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to a three-car motor vehicle crash on Route 9 in the area of Hand’s Farm in the Rio Grande section of Middle Township Friday, April 10 at 10:12 a.m.
Upon the arrival of officers on scene, it was determined that the vehicle, driven by Irene S. Sharp, 89, of Court House, was attempting to exit the parking lot of Symmetry Hair Salon when she struck the vehicle driven by Michael R. Stalford, 27, of Court House, which was traveling northbound on Route 9, causing that vehicle to go into the southbound lane, striking the vehicle driven by Edward J. Donnelly, 70, of Court House, and colliding head-on with Stalford’s vehicle. Also, in Donnelly’s vehicle was his wife Geanette Donnelly, 51. The crash resulted in minor injuries to most of the parties involved except Donnelly, who was transported to Atlantic City Medical Center for a more serious, but non-life threatening injury.
