VILLAS– A 13 year-old girl was struck by an SUV in the area of Walnut Ave on Bayshore Road Wednesday afternoon.
The teenager was ridding a bicycle with another girl at the time of the accident, police said.
The extent of the girls injuries are not known at this time however police said the girl was alert and talking on the scene.
The teenager was taken to the county airport where she was airlifted to the trauma unit at Cooper University Hospital in Camden by MONOC Air One.
