Teen Struck by Car in Wildwood

WILDWOOD– A 13 year-old boy was struck by a vehicle on West Rio Grande Avenue Friday night.
Matthew Magnavita, 13, was airlifted to the trauma unit at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic CIty by South Star medevac.
Police said Magnavita was riding his bike when he was struck by a car driven by Gilberto Oyola-Rodriguez, 42.
Wildwood police said its Accident Investigation Unit was investigating the incident, and no charges were immediately filed against Oyola-Rodriguez.
