DIAS CREEK – Middle Township Police Department responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Route 47 in Dias Creek at approximately 9:30 p.m. Sept. 6.
Upon arrival, officers found a Dodge R25 pickup truck, driven by Jason Adams, 18, of Goshen had run off the roadway as it was travelling north and struck a tree.
According to a release, a 16-year-old juvenile passenger was entrapped in the vehicle. Court House Fire Company responded and used the Jaws of Life to extract the juvenile.
Both Adams and the juvenile were transported by Middle Township EMS (emergency medical services); Adams to Cape Regional Medical Center and the juvenile to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, with multiple non-life-threatening injuries.
