Teen Bike Rider Hospitalized after Accident

WILDWOOD — On Oct. 8 at approximately 7:43 a.m., Wildwood police responded to 2800 Atlantic Ave. for a pedestrian/motor vehicle accident.
Investigation by Patrolman Mark D’Amico revealed that a 15-year-old male bicycle rider entered the intersection of Magnolia and Atlantic avenues against a red traffic signal, according to a police report.
The teen was struck by a vehicle operated by a 34-year-old male and was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center by a N.J. State Police Medevac Unit.
No summons related to this accident are anticipated, police said.
