RIO GRANDE — A motor vehicle accident occurred on Wednesday, March 3 at approximately 4:15 p.m. at the intersection of Route 47 and Fulling Mill Road.
The accident involved at least two vehicles, one of which collided with a home on the southeast corner of the intersection across the street from Menz’s Restaurant.
A medevac helicopter was initially called to the scene, but was later cancelled. Middle Township Rescue personnel were treating victims for injuries at the scene. One or more victims may also have been transported to the hospital. Injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
Middle Township police and Rio Grande firefighters responded to the scene.
