STONE HARBOR – On June 14 at 10:19 a.m., Stone Harbor Police responded to a medical call on the 100 Block of 117th Street where it was reported that a subject had fallen from a roof and sustained a head injury.
Upon officer arrival, aid was being rendered to the victim by workers.
The victim was identified as the homeowner who had been overseeing the instillation of his new roof and had been on the roof just prior to the incident.
As the homeowner exited the roof, the ladder slid out from under him resulting in him falling one story to a second floor deck and sustaining injuries.
The Stone Harbor Rescue and Fire Company responded to the scene and transported the homeowner to the 80th Street municipal field where he was airlifted to Atlantic City Medical Center City Division,
