State Police Investigate Marmora Crash

MARMORA— State Police are investigating a multivehicle crash here on 200 block of Tuckahoe Road in the area of the railroad tracks.
The Upper Township Rescue Squad was dispatched to the scene at around 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, Aug 1, with the Marmora Fire Department.
Upon arrival of emergency crews a medevac helicopter was requested to fly and paramedics were requested to the scene.
State Police reported the patient was being flown out as a “precaution” with a neck injury.
South Star reported the victim to be a 36-year-old male in stable condition. He was taken to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City.
Additional patients were transported to Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point by Upper Township Rescue Squad.
