State Police Investigate Four-Vehicle Crash

DENNISVILLE — A four-vehicle accident with entrapment took place Oct. 21 about 11:45 a.m. on Route 47 at Tyler Road.
N.J. State Police responded, as did three. Three ambulances from Belleplain Emergency Corps responded with one from Upper Township Rescue Squad.
Two paramedics from AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center units also responded. On arrival, they requested two medevac helicopters to the scene.
South Star and Medevac 5 airlifted both victims to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Trauma.
Another victim was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Trauma by ambulance.
Dennis Volunteer Fire responded for extrication with the Jaws of Life hydraulic took; Woodbine Fire Department responded to set up the landing zone for the aircraft.
State Police continue to investigate. No further information was available.
