State Police Identify Parkway-S.H. Blvd. Crash Victims

COURT HOUSE — State Police have identified the drivers of the Aug.27, accident at Garden State Parkway-Stone Harbor Boulevard intersection that sent two people to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Trauma Center.
State Police report, according to eye witnesses, John Keith, 84, of Mount Ephraim, was traveling north on Garden State Parkway when he turned left into oncoming southbound traffic at the Stone Harbor Boulevard intersection, and then struck a vehicle traveling south driven by Barbra Marini, 52, of Sewell.
Marini’s vehicle then struck a vehicle driven by James Finan, 51, of Newton that was also traveling southbound. The impact caused his vehicle to collide with a traffic light on the southwest corner of Stone Harbor Boulevard.
Keith and Marini were both air lifted to AtlantiCare Regional Trauma Center in Atlantic City, according to a hospital spokes person. Marini was listed in fair condition as of 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 28.
The hospital was unable to verify Keith was a Patient under there care.
Finan was transported to Cape Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released, according to State Police.
No charges have been filed at this time. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Lamach at the Bass River State Police Station.
