State Police Identify Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Parkway Crash

SOMERS POINT– An Egg Harbor Township man was seriously injured Thursday night in a motorcycle crash on the Garden State Parkway, Trooper Lamach at the Bass River station said.
Talbert Woodall III, 34, lost control of his motorcycle and crashed on the Great Egg Harbor bridge at mile post 27.8 in the northbound lane just before 6 p.m. No other vehicles were involved Lamach said.
Woodall was transported to Randolf Blvd in Marmora where the Marmora Fire Department and Upper Township Rescue Squad established a landing zone as mutual aide. He was then transfered to MedEvac 5 to be transported to the trauma unit at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City where he is listed in critical condition, state police said .
Both northbound lanes were closed until around 8:20 p.m., while the State Police Fatal Accident Investigation Unit, investigated the crash.
