Single Vehicle Crash Shuts Down Route 9 in Upper Twp for Hours

UPPER TOWNSHIP– A single vehicle crash caused Route 9 to be shut down between Butter Road and Evergreen Drive for over six hours Thursday night.
According to reports the vehicle struck a utility pole which needed to be replaced.
No injuries were reported.
The Upper Township Rescue Squad, Marmora Fire Dept, Atlanticare paramedics and NJ DOT responded to the scene.
State Police are investigating.
