LEESBURG– Seven people were injured in a two vehicle crash here at the intersection of Route 347 and Route 550 on Monday just before 6. p.m..
Emergency responders from both Cape May and Cumberland Counties responded to the scene which was just over the county line.
Traffic on Route 347 was brought to a standstill as EMT’s worked to aid the injured.
According to fire officials on scene the van rolled several times after being broadsided. Six people from the van were transported to Cape Regional Medical Center by Belleplain Emergency Corps with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the car involved was transported to Vineland Regional Medical Center also by Belleplain.
The crash is under investigation by state police, Port Norris station.
