Route 55 Crash Claims Villas Man’s Life

VINELAND – A Villas resident died as a result of a one-vehicle crash on Route 55 about 6 a.m. Sept. 12, according to a report on NBC 40.
Police told NBC 40 23-year old Andrew Waugh of the Villas was pronounced dead just after the crash along Rt. 55 southbound.
Waugh’s wife, who was a passenger in the white Lexus, was hospitalized with unknown injuries.
Route 55 was shut down for four hours during police investigation.
It is unknown what caused the crash.
