Route 347 Crash Claims One Life, Injures Another

MAURICE RIVER TOWNSHIP — N.J. State Police from the Port Norris Station were investigating the fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred Sept. 12 on Route 347 at about 4:30 p.m.
One victim was confirmed deceased at the scene.
Another victim was transported to Vineland Regional Mmedical Center by Belleplain Emergency Medical Services. and Life Support 6
No further details were available. State Police continue to investigate.
The accident closed the northbound lane of the busy two-lane roadway that connects Cape May and Cumberland counties as police and rescue units were on scene.
