WILDWOOD – Police are looking for a driver who struck and injured a 16-year-old boy in Wildwood, according to NJ.com.
The accident occurred around 3:00 a.m. July 5 in the 200 block of West Rio Grande Avenue.
Officers responding to the scene arrived to find the boy unconscious and suffering from a serious head injury. Police determined the boy had been struck by the car’s passenger side, side-view mirror, and the force of the impact caused the mirror’s casing to break off, which was found in the road.
No other injuries were reported as a result of the accident. The teen’s condition was not known as of Sunday, July 6.
