Pickup Crashes, Burns on Fulling Mill Road

LOWER TOWNSHIP – A one-vehicle accident occurred on Fulling Mill Rd. around 8:30 a.m. on November 30.
The driver of the pickup-truck was heading east and lost control, spun around and hit several trees.
Lower Township Rescue Squad was first on scene and found the driver standing in the road way with minor injuries and possible burns. Medics were called to assist in the treatment of the driver.
There was heavy smoke and flames showing from the truck when first responders arrived.
Lower Township stopped traffic for about on hour while the Villas Fire Department put out the fire and cleaned up the scene.
One responder was reported to have possibly sustained an injury.
The condition of the driver is unknown. No further information is available at this time.
