Pedestrian Injured in Crash

COURT HOUSE – On Feb. 22, at approximately 9:36 p.m., members of the Middle Township Police Department were dispatched to a pedestrian-motor vehicle crash on County Road 657 (Stone Harbor Boulevard) in the area of Cape Regional Medical Center. 
The preliminary investigation revealed Eric Sloan, 37, of Court House, was crossing County Road 657 outside of a designated crosswalk and was struck by a 2015 Nissan Rogue driven by a 43-year-old female from Court House. 
As a result of the crash, Sloan was injured and was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Division. 
The road was shut for a period while the Middle Township Crash Investigation Team investigated.
The crash remains under investigation.
