Pedestrian Dies in Crash

CAPE MAY – A Cape May man died from injuries he suffered after being struck by a motor vehicle Dec. 13.
According to a release, Cape May Police Department, along with Cape May Fire Department, responded to a 911 call about the crash on Texas Avenue.
Pedestrian Curtis Ziegler, 81, was airlifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, where he remained in critical condition until Dec. 16, when he died.
The investigation was conducted by Officers McMahon and Krissinger, as well as Sgt. Connelly.  
No charges have been filed.
