One Injured in Route 9 Rollover

CLERMONT– One person was injured in a single vehicle rollover here on Route 9 at Landing Road on Tue., Jan. 4 at 11:43 a.m.
A Jeep Grand Cherokee struck a utility pole on the southbound shoulder leaving wires in the roadway. The sport-utility-vehicle then overturned resting on its roof causing traffic to come to standstill.
The Ocean View Fire Department responded to the scene with Belleplain Emergency Corps and Medic 9.
The driver identified by State Police as Thomas Partin, 64, of Absecon, was transported to Cape Regional Medical Center.
The crash is under investigation by State Police, Woodbine station.
