COLD SPRING – Lower Township Police Department advises motorists to avoid the 1100 block Seashore Road (near Masonic Lodge) due to a heavily damaged electric pole. A one-car motor vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 11:01 p.m. Nov. 11, will require a detour of traffic while this pole is being replaced.
A Verizon Wireless crew has been contacted to replace this pole and should be arriving on site around sunrise. At this time, it is unknown as to when the roadway will be fully opened back up to traffic. Suggested alternate routes would be to use Stimpson Lane and take Shunpike Road up to New England Road.
