One Airlifted To Trauma Center Following Marmora Crash

MARMORA– One person was airlifted to the trauma unit at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, by Medevac 5 following a two vehicle crash here on Tuckahoe Road in the area of the Church of the Resurrection, on Thursday, Feb. 4 at 10:45 a.m.
The Marmora Fire Department, Upper Township Rescue Squad and Medic 8 responded to the scene. One patient needed to be extricated, according to reports.
A second patient was transported to Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point by Upper Township Rescue Squad with minor injuries.
The accident is under investigation by troopers at the Woodbine station.
