EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — An Ocean City woman is in critical condition following a two-vehicle crash here on Somers Point-Mays Landing Road.
Police said Margaret R. Sklut, 59, was driving her Ford Five Hundred when she was struck by a Ford F-250 driven by Christopher Carter, 27, of Egg Harbor Township.
Sklut was airlifted to the trauma unit at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City by MedEvac 5 where she is listed in critical condition, according to a report by the Press of Atlantic City.
Carter was airlifted to the same trauma unit by MONOC Air One; his injures are reported to be moderate.
Carter was issued summonses for reckless driving, failure to maintain his lane of travel and failure to wear a seat belt.
The crash is being investigated by officers Robert Moran and Brian Dickson.
