North Cape May Woman Injured in Route 347 Crash in Dennis Township

DENNIS TOWNSHIP– A motorist was injured in a single vehicle crash at around 4. a.m., Sunday, state police said.
Kimberly Palmer, 39, of North Cape May, was driving northbound on Route 347 in Eldora and struck a tree which resulted in a car fire.
State Police said Palmer who is pregnant was airlifted to Cooper University Trauma Center in Camden by South Star medevac for precautionary reasons.
State Police said Palmer was later released from the hospital.
The Belleplain Fire Department responded to the scene with Belleplain Emergency Corps and Atlantic Care paramedics. The Dennis Fire Department handled the landing zone at Union cometary.
The crash is under investigation by Trooper K. Gentilini of the Woodbine station.
