No Sign Of Missing Swimmer off Ocean City Inlet

OCEAN CITY— There is no word on the status of the missing 19-Year-Old Philadelphia teenager identified by police as Josias Sterling who went missing while swimming with a friend in the Great Egg Harbor Inlet on Friday, July 24, just before 1 p.m.
The Coast Guard suspended its search at approximately 9:33 p.m., on Friday after searching approximately 31 square miles for approximately 8.5 hours with boats and helicopters.
Boats from the State Police, Ocean City Fire Department and Longport Fire Department also participated in the search.
The Ocean City Police Department had no new information as of 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 26.
