Motorcyclist Airlifted After Rear Ending Vehicle on Parkway

SWAINTON— A motorcyclist was airlifted to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City by South Star medevac following a crash on the Garden State Parkway on Sunday, Sept 20, just after 7:00 p.m.
According to reports the motorcycle was traveling north when the bike rear ended another northbound vehicle, the rider was subsequently ejected from the motorcycle at mile post 12.6.
The flight crew reported the patient to be a 51 year-old male in stable condition with possible head and ankle injures and road rash.
The Middle Township Police Department responded to the scene with the Court House Fire Department the Middle Township Ambulance Corps and Atlanticare Paramedics.
The accident is under investigation by state troopers at the Bass River station.
