LOWER TOWNSHIP – At approximately 1:30 a.m., a vehicle ran into a tree on New England Rd. in Lower Township. With the driver trapped, Town Bank Fire Company was called to the scene. Lower Rescue and Medic 5 treated, and then transported the victim to the Cape May County Airport to be flown to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for further treatment of injuries. Lower Township police are investigating.
