CEST HAVEN — Middle Township police responded to a traffic accident on the property of the 253rd New Jersey Army National Guard on Sun., Apr. 15.
The investigation discovered a military vehicle that was backed into a partially open garage door in the facility. The collision resulted in the injury of a guardsman when the door collapsed.
The guardsman suffered a head injury and required advanced medical treatment. The guardsman was flown from the property to Atlantic City Medical Center City Division. the incident is currently under investigation by the Middle Township Police Patrol Division and the Station Commander of the Army Facility.
